Way back when… two little guys booked the Broadway-bound world premiere of A Christmas Story, the Musical. “Stage Parents” and soon-to-be friends, Ellen Sauchelli and Carter Sayle accompanied their children as they began working at the Kansas City Rep to help bring ACS to life. Jake (Ellen’s son) and Zachary (Carter’s son) would be the first Randy and Ralphie to bring the show to a professional stage. As their careers took off, the growing demand for marketing materials and promotional content quickly became a key part of their journey.

There is so much to organize and prepare, we figured it out so you don’t have to!

With a combined background in web design, marketing, and the arts, Ellen and Carter decided to start a business to help performers and their families. In 2009, they founded Stage Door Designs. Carter stayed with the company until the end of 2024, helping countless families with their marketing materials.

Today, Stage Door Designs is about to celebrate 15 years of supporting a wide range of individuals and businesses with concierge marketing services.
